The second song of the EP, Dworzec, is one for which I borrowed a poem by Polish Nobel Prize Laureate Wisława Szymborska. In Dworzec (Railroad Station), she creates a narrator that observes an every-daily scene, but instead of describing what happens, they describe what does not happen: „While they kissed, with not our lips, a suitcase disappeared, not mine“ With this negation, she manages to ask an existential question: What would the world be like if we had never existed? Would it be just the same? Szymborska makes us think: 'are we just vessels who fulfill an incidental destiny, actors in a play whose cast is interchangeable? This seemingly fatalistic attitude has a motivational aspect: By realizing we might be replaceable, we also realize that it's up to us to live up to the responsibility that is entailed in being alive.
